Aaron Teo is the founder and CEO of Ö.Space. He is also an architect, restaurant co-owner, and product designer based in Singapore. He holds earlier patents for modular shelving and consumer products.

From Practice to Product
Aaron is a graduate of Environmental Design and Architecture from the University of Western Australia. He has over 20 years of experience across residential, commercial, and hospitality design. His portfolio includes Scarborough Observation City Hotel, high-end residences, the Wesley Quarters commercial redevelopment, and KOKI Bay container chalets in Papua New Guinea.

Across two decades in architecture, Aaron saw firsthand the mounting inefficiencies of the building industry: materials wasted, costs ballooning, and timelines stretched. Even on high-profile projects, he felt the system was broken and highly fragmented.

Later, running a furniture retail and design studio, he found joy in the agility of consumer products—fast to iterate, designed for real people, not specialists.

The Spark for Ö.Space
The spark for Ö.Space came during the peak of the COVID lockdown. Like many, Aaron was navigating life under one roof—working from home, raising a newborn, and juggling noise, space, and sanity.

He kept thinking: “If only this wall could shift. If only this room could grow. If only this space could be more soundproof.”

That frustration birthed a question that wouldn’t leave him: “Why can’t our walls function like furniture? Modular. Reusable. Soundproof. Plug-and-play. Something that everyday people could easily change and adapt, not just builders or tradesmen."

Reimagining Walls for Everyday Consumers
Aaron’s personal frustrations led to the development of Ӧ.WALL,  the world’s first* interior wall system designed for the everyday consumer.

True to his vision, he has reimagined walls as furniture. His innovation allows interior walls—or partition walls, as others call them—to be easy to install, integrate with power and modern tech,  replace or change parts, remove and move, and even resell.

In developing Ö.WALL, he aims to empower everyone to shape their environments, reduce construction waste, and lower the barrier to quality and good design.

Design Philosophy
Aaron is driven by his belief that architecture should be as adaptable, sustainable, and human-centric as the lives we lead.

With a focus on modular prefab innovation, he is advocating for a future where spaces are fluid, walls are smarter, and sustainability isn’t just a feature, but a foundation.

Ö.Space is Aaron’s quiet rebellion—against outdated systems, against throwaway architecture, and for a future that’s regenerative, accessible, and beautifully human.
