The spark for ö.Space came during the peak of the COVID-19 lockdown. Like many, our founder, Aaron Teo, was navigating life under one roof—working from home, raising a newborn, and juggling noise, space, and sanity.
He kept thinking: “If only this wall could shift. If only this room could grow. If only this space could be more soundproof.”
That frustration birthed a question that wouldn’t leave him: “Why can’t our walls function like furniture? Modular. Reusable. Soundproof. Plug-and-play. Something that everyday people could easily change and adapt, not just builders or tradesmen."
Aaron’s personal frustrations led to the development of ö.Wall, our flagship product.
With a remote team, Aaron started the journey in Perth, Western Australia. Later, Aaron moved to Singapore, where we continued our journey.

Iteration & Refinement
The team advanced the system through Prototype V2, refining modularity, durability, and constructability based on testing and early feedback.
Product Maturity & Singapore Expansion
ö.Space completed Prototype V3, finalised the MVP, and became a Plug and Play cohort. The company relocated to Singapore to support regional growth and filed an international patent.
Validation, Partnerships & Global Pilots
With Prototype V4, ö.Space secured strategic partnerships and launched pilots across Asia, the US, and the Middle East. The company joined SMU IIE BIG and The GEAR by Kajima, received JTC support, secured grant funding, and signed multiple LOIs and MOUs, marking a transition toward commercial scale.
